Administration Office Closed to the Public

`In response to Governor Ducey's executive order for Arizonan's to “Stay home, Stay healthy, Stay connected”, the Mescal-J6 Fire District Administration Office will be temporarily closed to the public from 5:00 pm May 31st, until further notice. Staff will remain available to accept phone calls, return emails, etc. during our normal business hours of Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.

In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Arizona Department of Health Services recommendation to cancel or postpone any gathering of 10 or more people:


NOTICE is hereby given that the Mescal-J6 Fire District Governing Board has cancelled their monthly meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at 6:30pm in the Multipurpose Room of the Mescal-J6 Fire District Administration Building,
98 N. Oak Drive, Benson, AZ 85602. 


The March 25 regular business meeting is tentatively rescheduled for April 8. Additional details regarding the rescheduling of this meeting will be posted here, and on our website, www.mescalj6fd.com, as they become available. 


The April regular business meeting is currently scheduled to take place April 29, 2020, at 6:30pm, in the Multipurpose Room of the Mescal-J6 Fire District Administration Building, 98 N. Oak Drive, Benson, AZ 85602. Notwithstanding further COVID-19 isolation precautions, the agenda for the April 29 meeting will be posted here, as well as www.mescalj6fd.com/agenda at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.

The mission of the MJFD is to protect lives and property by providing residents and visitors of the Mescal-J6 Fire District with as modern and as effective fire, rescue, and emergency medical services as possible by an all-volunteer community fire department.


We dedicate ourselves to a proactive approach of training, fire prevention, and planning, while also fostering community awareness of and participation in fire safety matters.


We will fulfill the trust placed in us by our community by being prepared for fires, accidents, and other emergencies that may occur; and by executing our services in a safe and respectful manner, with the least possible risk to life, injury, and damage to property.
